Sales scaled. The system did not.

CERNO builds the operating system of your company in 90 days - so growth stops depending on one person for every decision.

Why this happens

Companies do not fail from a lack of sales. They fail from a lack of systems. Sales scale first. The way work actually moves - lead to proposal to delivery to payment - stays the same as when the company was smaller.

One person becomes the bottleneck. Everyone else waits. Quality depends on who is in the room. Hiring does not help, because the process was never written down.

It hits new companies building foundations, growing teams that outgrew ad-hoc work, and larger organisations that still run on heroics. Size is not the filter. The missing system is.

What it costs when the system does not catch up

These are not soft problems. They show up in the calendar, the bank account, and the exit value of the company.

Your time

You are in every thread. Strategy waits behind approvals. The company cannot move faster than your inbox.

Quality

Delivery varies by who touched the job. Clients feel it. Reputation erodes quietly.

Hiring

People join and still need you for every exception. Ramp time stays long because nothing is documented.

Marketing stalls

You stop pushing for more demand because the back end cannot absorb it without breaking.

Money leaks

Rework, missed follow-ups, slow invoicing. Revenue grows while margin stays flat.

Hard to sell or hand over

Buyers and successors buy systems, not heroes. A company that only works with you in the middle is worth less.

A system, not a service menu

Five areas as one whole. One person accountable. That is intentional - a company system cannot be built if five people each own a slice.

Marketing

Demand that arrives filtered, not as noise for someone to sort by hand.

Branding

Clear positioning so the right clients recognise themselves before the call.

Web

A site that qualifies and books - not a brochure that dumps everything into email.

Automation

Handoffs that run without chasing. Less copy-paste between tools and people.

Custom tools

Software shaped to how you actually work, when off-the-shelf leaves gaps.

Built on your accounts and tools. Ownership stays with you. No lock-in.

90 days. Three phases.

Every phase has an output you can hold. Nothing stays as a slide deck.

Diagnosis

Map the path from lead to proposal to delivery to payment. Find bottlenecks and points that depend on one person.

A written system map with priorities

days 1 - 30

Build

Automations, a site that qualifies and books, central records, purpose-built tools where needed.

A system running in production

days 31 - 60

Flow and handoff

Marketing flow, tuning on real data, documentation, and bringing the team in.

A company that takes more work without one person as the bottleneck

days 61 - 90

Everything built stays in your ownership, on your accounts and tools. No lock-in. If we stop, you keep the system.

Who this is - and is not - for

This is for you if

  • You own the bottleneck, or you are building so you never become one
  • You are ready to change how the company runs, not only how it looks online
  • You want one accountable person across marketing, brand, web, automation and tools
  • Company size does not matter - new, growing, or large - if the systems gap is real

This is not for you if

  • You only want a website or only ads, with nothing else changing
  • You expect results with zero change in how work moves inside the company
  • You want a classic agency split - five vendors, five priorities, no owner of the whole

CERNO LABS · Croatia

I write the code. I set up the systems. The person on the first call is the same person doing the work.

CERNO means to discern - to separate what matters from what does not. That is the job: build what the company needs to run without heroics.

Questions before the call

Why not a regular agency?
An agency sells slices - ads here, a site there, brand somewhere else. A company system breaks at the seams between those slices. CERNO covers the five areas as one whole, with one person accountable.
How long does it take?
Ninety days for the core program: diagnosis, build, flow and handoff. After that you decide what continues based on how the system runs - not on a long lock-in.
How much do I need to be involved?
You need to be available for diagnosis and decisions. You do not need to project-manage the build. Expect focused sessions early, then lighter check-ins as the system goes live.
Who owns what gets built?
You do. Accounts, tools, code and documentation stay under your control. There is no lock-in if we stop working together.
What if we are not ready?
Say so on the diagnostic call. If the timing or the willingness to change operations is not there, we stop there. No pitch to force a fit.
